Istanbul, Antalya and Cappadocia Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Welcome to Turkey!
Upon your arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport with a sign on which your name is written and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2
You will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day tour.
Highlights of tour: Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar
You will visit Hagia Sophia museum which was the largest church of the world during the Roman Empire period in the 6th century. Later you go to Underground Cistern, locally known as Yerebatan Sarayi (meaning Sunken Palace) or Yerebatan Sarnici (Basilica Cistern), this underground water cistern was the major water reservoir of Constantinople. The water was transported from the Belgrade Forest by the immense Byzantine aqueducts. Then, your guide will take you to the Blue Mosque which is aunique mosque in Turkey with six minarets. Near Blue Mosque, you will see the ancient Roman hippodrome where chariot races took place in the 3rd centuryin Roman Empire. Today, the last stop is the most famous and the largest covered bazaar in Turkey with 4000 shops, known as the Grand Bazaar.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (Breakfast)
Day 3
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to fly to Cappadocia. Upon arrival to the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. (Breakfast)
Day 4
Today you can join an OPTIONAL HOT AIR BALLOON tour. Please contact your agent for details.
After breakfast, you will depart to Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. You will drive to Love Valley to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Then, you will go to the city of Avanos. Later, you will visit another beautiful Zelve open-air museum where you can see the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements that date back to hundreds of years ago. The next stop is the natural castles at Uchisar. Then, you will go to Pasabag Valley also known as Mushroom Valley because of the shape of the rocks. This village is famous for the Christian Clergymen’s houses and churches. Then, you will be driven to the Pigeon Valley. Lastly, you will visit Özkonak Underground City where the early Christians lived in fear and faith.
After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. (Breakfast)
Day 5
You will be transferred to the airport according to your flight time to fly to İzmir. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kuşadası. Overnight in Kuşadası. (Breakfast)
Day 6
Today, you will visit Ephesus, which is one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. You will walk through history, you will see the theatre, library, agora, baths, temples and explore more together with your guide. Ephesus theatre was the biggest Roman theatre and Library of Ephesus was the third biggest library of the ancient world.
Your next destination will be the old Greek Village “Şirince” which means “Pretty”. Today the village is a perfect synthesis of Turkish-Greek culture. It is time to wander around and take wonderful pictures of the old Greek village “Şirince”. Your guide will take you around the village and you will walk through the narrow streets among the old Greek houses, and then you will be having the chance to enjoy your free time for a while as walking around the streets where you can see the villagers selling their own handicrafts, needle works.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Kuşadası. (Breakfast)
Day 7
Today, you will be transferred to your hotel in Pamukkale by private car. Overnight in Pamukkale. (Breakfast)
Day 8
Today, you will visit the “White Heaven” in Turkey which is known as “Cotton Castle” – Pamukkale in Turkish. You will be picked up from your hotel by your licensed guide. You will visit White Terraces, the unusual landscape at Pamukkale, a unique natural site known for the carbonate mineral deposits left by thermal water. You can walk in naturel water. And also, you will visit ancient city Hierapolis, the ancient holy city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on natural hot springs which are thought to have healing properties and have been used as a spa since the 2nd century BC.
After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Pamukkale. (Breakfast)
Day 9
Today, you will be transferred to your hotel in Antalya by private car. Overnight in Antalya. (Breakfast)
Day 10
After breakfast, you will visit Antalya old City (Kaleiçi) Marina, Clock Tower, Hadrian's Gate, Broken Minaret, Hidirlik Tower.
Kaleici is a small historic part of Antalya, which is alsoknown as the Old City of Antalya. It was once a modern Roman town, then it became a Byzantine town, then a Seljuk town, and finally an Ottoman town. The Hadrian's Gate (or Hadrianus Gate or The Three Gates) is a triumphal archwhich was built in the name of the Roman emperor Hadrian. Antalya's broken wonder is the Broken Minaret of the Korkut Mosque, which itself was built originally as a Roman temple in the 2nd century, and thus did not have a minaret at all. Hıdırlık Tower is a landmark tower of tawny stone in Antalya, Turkey, where Kaleiçi meets Karaalioglu Park. It is believed to be built in Hellenistic era on a square plan and later turned into a circular tower in the 2nd century and it was either used as a fortification or a lighthouse in the past.
Later, we drive to Duden waterfalls. All the streams of the region aim at finding their way into theMediterranean and they pour down the slopes of the Taurus, sometimes overland sometimes underground reaching their destination, creating lovely waterfalls, of which there are more than twenty.
After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Antalya. (Breakfast)
Day 11
You will be transferred to the airport according to your flight time to fly to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (Breakfast)
Day 12
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will see the best part of the city known as the Bosphorus which is located between Europe and Asia Continents. You will see Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Ortaköy, Bosphorus Bridge, and houses and mansions near theseaside from the boat.
Then you will go to Spice Market for shopping. It has been in use as one of the world’s largest spice bazaars since 1665. It gains its Turkish name, Mısır Çarşısı (Egyptian Market), from the fact that it once received income from taxes collected from Egypt.
Named after the French novelist who wrote his most famous work “Aziyade” in Istanbul; Pierre Loti Hill (Pierre Loti Tepesi is one of the city’s most impressive—and little-visited—viewpoints. Reached by cable car, it’s a popular spot for locals to stroll or enjoy lunch at one of the hilltop cafés. Later on, you will visit one of the most popular places in Istanbul, Balat and umbrella street.

Day 13
